"hundreds trillions of dollars per year." COME ON! where does that figure come from? You make it sound like every single person on the planet has a hundred dollar a day habit. Realistically, maybe not even a half of a percent of the population have Heroin habits.

Remember there are also legitimate uses of opiates for pharmaceuticals in hospitals, etc. Thank heaven for Morphine.

The poor Afghani farmers are only getting about $100 per kilo for raw opium.

Everything have its own cause. Even decisions which are made in your family consisted of 4-5 members are good deliberated and projected to be fruitfully in the future.
