Is it owned by Yahoo or any related entity? The format seems very user-friendly. Is it possible to post copies of scanned jpeg documents or pdf or Word documents? I just installed a new Dell PC/printer/scanner at home so (and this will thrill John Perna!!) I am now able to scan documents and share them --- so, perhaps, even John will stop using the word "liar" now when he simply disagrees with someone about factual evidence--particularly when he is ignorant of the relevant material.

I really don't know what "Yuku" is. . . NewsChat, formerly at MSN, converted to it. That introduced me. No connection to Yahoo of which I know. Yuku suggest that you subscribe to a free data or picture service (which will store jpegs, pdfs, etc.) which can be then linked to and seen in your posts. They recommended one, but I can't remember which one! You can also upload a limited number of pictures, pdfs to your account at Yuku and link to those, I think. I am a bit disappointed that only "links" to Yuku are sent to subscribers, not entire posts. No doubt they want you to go to the Yuku site often for ads, etc. After 30 days, ads will begin to appear in this site unless I pay $6.00 per month. . . not a bad fee! Posts: 35 Mon, Jan 19, 2009 4:43 PM	Now that I have had some time to review this Yuku format, I've reluctantly decided that the Yahoo groups are better constructed and offer more options. I agree with Lloyd that it is helpful to be able to create distinct separate discussion topics but Yuku doesn't seem as user-friendly as I first thought. Perhaps that is one reason why almost no one has migrated from the Yahoo group over to here?

Remove this ad Unless something dramatic intervenes, I plan to continue with Yuku. I plan to upload material on the various topics from my past writing in the Project, Yahoo, and elsewhere, essentially using Yuku in lieu of a www site and, at the same time, attracting debate and input on the various "paradigms" that interest me. This could be an extremely "slow motion" process! I am not sure why so few of our old subscribers have followed here. Perhaps most were inattentive subscribers who lost interest over the years. I must admit, I have numerous Yahoo list memberships, but only follow a very few closely. The only thing this EZ-board script has that interests me is it's RSS capability. You can RSS Yuku-users individually. It's almost like a spy-button. It's sort of nice to see the message threads outlined at the bottom. The Yuku private message system looks pretty good (almost like web-mail.). My playlists won't load (I would dump this board for that reason alone.) The Yuku message editor inserts HTML code nicely. (too bad Ernie can't see it though) I'm giving Yuku a thumbs down. (but some features are OK.)

About that french censorhip - I don't think they care. because I used the litigation-tool on Forumotion to complain about content on a forumotion board and got back ziltch for response. I think the litigation-tool just relays the complaint to the forum admin and nothing else. The playlists might be handy for playing conspiracy-audio files, etc. This EZ-board isn't bad -- but with forumotion you can switch back and forth between EZboard, phpBB2, phBB3 and one other. The EZboard message editor is pretty nice actually (for html) and has spell-check -- but doesn't show the bb-code

Posts: 35 Wed, Jan 21, 2009 5:43 PM	I have been quite surprised because we had a rather lively group of people --- but perhaps some folks just feel overwhelmed by participating in multiple discussion groups plus dealing with normal incoming email traffic. Plus, current political events may be a distraction from taking the time to write rebuttals to messages. Recently, for example, I received several emails from individuals who came across links to my various on-line reports or they saw letters-to-the-editor of mine which have been published during the past month or so --- and I have spent 3-4 hours a day just answering a slew of their emails. Every new person that contacts me regarding my JBS writings usually presents the same exact arguments with an occasional tweak.
